Our Story
Welcome to Chabad of Citrus & Hernando Counties! We are Rabbi Moishy and Maryasha Serebryanski, and along with our son Mendel, we are thrilled to call this beautiful community our home.
Our journey brought us to Beverly Hills, Florida, with a singular mission: to build a warm, vibrant, and welcoming center for Jewish life. We are honored to be revitalizing the historic Congregation Beth Sholom and establishing it as a hub for Jewish learning, celebration, and connection for every Jew in the region, regardless of background or affiliation.
We are proud to continue a family legacy of service and dedication to the Sunshine State's Jewish community!
Our Vision
Nestled in the heart of Florida’s beautiful Nature Coast, our community is surrounded by natural wonders that attract visitors from all over the world. As this area continues to grow with new families and expanding neighborhoods, we are committed to ensuring that Jewish life flourishes alongside it.
Many Jewish residents in our area have had little opportunity to connect with their heritage or a local Jewish community. Our goal is to change that. We aim to create a space where you can:
